Cynthia's Bistro is located in Friday Harbor on the breathtakingly beautiful San Juan Islands. Just a convenient walk from the ferry landing, Cynthia's is best known for its innovative menu selections including a full espresso bar, freshly baked pastries, local and European wines, as well as microbrews. The bistro offers brunch all day - You can enjoy a mouth-watering omelet at 1'oclock in the afternoon or devour a delectable "Great Bacon Butter Burger" at 8am. It is housed in a renovated 1920's home and is comfortable for small and large groups. It features a large deck that seats up to 40 and opens up in the warmer months. It happens to be surrounded by a gorgeous garden that is interspersed with plum and apple trees.
Often Live music is being staged under the plum & apple trees in the warm summer evenings when Cynthia's offers a wonderful dinner menu. Cynthia's is also a weekly vendor at the San Juan Island Farmer's Market and has been for the last 17 years. Offering up sweet & savory pastries. working alongside the local farmers has given The Bistro access to only the freshest of locally grown ingredients to create many of the menu offerings at the restaurant.
The fall/winter hours are:
Thursday-Monday: 7:30am to 2:00pm (Dinners are special events and by reservation only.)
The Spring/Summer season:
Cynthia's is open every day from 7:30am to 2:00pm for All-day breakfast/brunch and Lunch (Reservations are still recommended. The bistro is not yet open for dinner during this season.)
